Wild Pearl is a chic and edgy jewelry line designed by seasoned artist Helli Luck in 2014. Helli curates these beautifully handmade pearls and stones into one of a kind statement pieces. Wild Pearl can be worn for a night on the town, on the beach, or a formal gala, these are not your mother's pearls!
London born artist, Helli Luck has had a successful career in the art industry for over 20 years. As an art Director for Saatchi and Saatchi, she travelled the world getting ideas and influences from every unique place she landed. Helli answered her calling to her passion for art and fashion by creating Wild Pearl. Helli was privileged to have her art work exhibited in the mall Galleries by Buckingham Palace at the age of 14 years old.
Helli settled in Nashville, TN with her two daughters Sophie and Annie after finishing a great career in advertising. Helli feels that art is just another language of expression. "When I make a necklace it is just as much as a piece of art as one of my oil paintings."
Why Wild Pearls?
The most valuable pearls occur spontaneously in the wild, but are extremely rare. These wild pearls are referred to as natural pearls. Cultured or farmed pearls from pearl oysters and freshwater mussels make up the majority of those currently sold. Imitation pearls are also widely sold in inexpensive jewelry, but the quality of their iridescence is usually very poor and is easily distinguished from that of genuine pearls.
